Chez Janou with Sue

Back when I was in California and fantasizing about traveling around Europe, I would go to the library and check out every Travel Channel DVD available. When I came across a episode where Samantha Brown was in Paris and she ate at Chez Janou, I knew I had to eat there.chez janou menuWhen I arrived in Paris, I forgot all about Chez Janou as I was distracted by a certain blue-eyed butcher.

Three years later.

The lovely Sue is a flight attendant who arrives in town from time to time. Every so often she calls me up and gives me her Paris layover dates and times. We meet at the top of a random Métro station and start walking until we come upon a wine bar or restaurant that looks like it is worthy of our good times. And that's when we came upon Chez Janou.

Oh yeah, YOU.

This is how we started...

This is whatever she ate...

It tastes better than it looks.

Crossed that off my list. I wonder what other Paris To Dos are on my long forgotten lists. I better find that list. Paris may not last forever. What did she say?!
