So I was walking up and down Rue Mouffetard, getting my morsels for the next few days, and I came across (and took a video of) this little menagerie of old people puppets!

They were mesmerizing. Notice in the video a lady came up to me while I was filming. This is what I understood: "bla bla bla program bla bla January bla bla" then she handed me a brochure.

But I understood that she was telling me something about this street spectacle and more information was in the brochure. PROGRESS! I even nodded and said they were cool IN FRENCH. She understood. MORE PROGRESS!
