Passages and Covered Galleries of Paris

Paris is always showing off.

Just when I think I've crossed everything off in my guide book, I discover more.

My most recent discovery was passages and galleries of Paris. These are streets built around the early 1900s. They were covered with a glass canopy to protect shoppers from the rain and cold. Of course, this also protected the shops themselves.

Now when you stroll through this maze of corridors, you can find trinkets and architectural details of a bygone era. You'll also find a hotel, a lecture hall, restaurants, bookstores, vintage stamp shops, and and and...

Well, my point is that I took PLENTY of photos.
