Blobs, bonbons, and the boys behind the Paris Letters
I've been playing with my new set of watercolors. Mostly blobbing. One must blend blobs:One must do blob tests on different paper:And one must re-energize from blobbing with bonbons. Then stop fooling around and get thee to the copy place to the team who copies my monthly Paris Letters. The guy on the left is Norman. He's the one I wrote about in my book, also called Paris Letters. The one next to him is Kim who speaks ZERO English and ZERO Franglais and understands ZERO French with an English accent. He hands me off to Norman when I start yammering on in my Anglais accent. The bearded cutie in the middle is Matthieu. He and David next to him do the majority of heavy lifting with Paris Letters... literally. They've been with me since I was making a mere hundred copies a month. Now there are considerable more, which means while they find a box for the copies, I go get treats.Yesterday David got a raisin escargot. Not snails. Round cinnamon donuts in the shape of a snail. I didn't think of taking a photo until after we ate. C'est la vie. If you subscribe to Paris Letters already and feel the love, now you know why. They are really made with love from the team. If your letter has, at times, smelled like cinnamon, you also know why. If you don't subscribe, please do!In other news:RENEGADE COLLECTIVE: I've got a 4-page spread in Issue 11 with Blondie on the cover. So sexy. Speaking of sexy, show me your muscles boys.So fun.
