Apica twin ring: the best writing journal ever

I was talking to a friend the other day about the concept of being "laid back." To be relaxed and easygoing. She said I was laid back and I was all HELL NO. There is nothing about me that is laid back, relaxed or easygoing. Unless I truly don't care. There are a few things that do interest me, and with which I am entirely not laid back. Namely, my writing tools.

The Apica Twin Ring Journal and UniBall Vision pen.

I will not use your pen. Thanks. I will bring my own to your house, to the post office, to the café, around town. I will be very Sheldon about this. I'm not even joking.

The paper in a journal must feel soft, like if Nivea Cream were paper. It has to be spiral bound for laying flat, and it has to be easy on the eye. The lines have to be spaced just so, and they shouldn't be a stark black and white. They should be a warm grey. Soothing.

How I adore these journals. Love is in the air.

Going on about the best journal ever makes me want to sit down with a cup of tea and start writing.
