I was talking to a friend the other day about the concept of being “laid back.” To be relaxed and easygoing. She said I was laid back and I was all HELL NO.
There is nothing about me that is laid back, relaxed or easygoing. Unless I truly don’t care.
There are a few things that do interest me, and with which I am entirely not laid back.
1. The Apica Twin Ring Journal and UniBall Vision pen.
I will not use your pen. Thanks. I will bring my own to your house, to the post office, to the café, around town. I will be very Sheldon about this. I’m not even joking.
2. Stationery and writing paper in general.
The paper must feel soft, like if Nivea Cream were paper, it would be my stationery. It has to be the same dimensions as my Twin Ring journal (see above), and it has to be easy on the eye. The lines have to be spaced just so, and they shouldn’t be a stark black and white. They should be a warm grey. Soothing.
And it’s not just one mere snow globe. The set includes 8 different designs.
Then we have the traditional full-page Paris Letters stationery set…
And because I can’t stop once I’m on a roll, a set that is just pretty travel paintings.
How I adore these stationery sets. Love is in the air.
And with my stationery sets listed, the shop is nearly complete. Sure there may be a few items I add along the way, but it is FINALLY in the autumn of its development. And that just makes me want to sit down with a cup of tea and relax.
