This is the booth where I finished the first draft of Paris Letters. It is located in Białystok, Poland.
I took the photo this morning.
We are back in town to visit Christophe’s family and attend a wedding. Our visit just so happens to coincide with the release of the audio version of Paris Letters. You can purchase it over at Audible.com or through Amazon who is already in kahoots with Audible.
If you subscribe, you can get Paris Letters free. And who doesn’t like a freebie?
Feel free to listen during the commute, while doing dishes or going for a nice long hike. That’s how I usually listen to audio books. Except, of course, for this morning.
Today I sat in that orange booth listening to Tavia Gilbert, the super talented narrator, read me the book I wrote from that very spot. A sweet, surreal experience. I felt like I had come full circle.
“I’ll have a refill, please.”
