St. Paul Métro is one of the more interesting stations to await les amis.
Soooooooo much I have missed seeing in Paris …
But you take me to all I have missed with your book, pictures, etc.
I enjoy it all.
Thanks for sharing the photos!

I have been staying in the Marais for the last few weeks and enjoy Le Village St-Paul. Yesterday, I went to see the brocant sale and had lunch at Les Chimères. There is a nice neighbourhood feel to Rue St. Antoine.
Great decision to make these black-and-white photos. The woman carrying the stroller down the stairs reminds me of the suitcase I lugged up and down countless staircases in Italy, both at the train station and the hotels we stayed at. That was the one drawback about being in Europe – no existing or working elevators! 😉

I will be arriving from LA on 30 April, I am staying in the Marais for 1 month, on rue Charlemagne. I was so excited to see my Metro stop as your feature today. I liked the headless and handless appearing fellow on the bike, great shot.
It’s always so nice to get a glimpse of all the little details that make up life in Paris. The small town on the west coast of Scotland (not far from Glasgow) where I live isn’t exactly Paris but reading your blog has encouraged me to pay more attention to the small beauties of daily life by the sea. 🙂

Have you written a letter from Mal Maisone ???? I would love one, a special place for me.
Love the idea of black and photos . I need to get out my albums and revisit everywhere we went. I dont remember which metro we took to Paris Disneyland I know it was an eye opener and quite a smelly ride for early in the day.
Love your letters and loved your book. Your art work is beautiful.
Just got your book the day before yesterday…and finished it yesterday. I enjoyed it so much that now I need you to write another book. I had this song rolling through my head the whole time…Bobby Caldwell’s What I do for Love. Give it a listen and and then give Christophe a big smooch.
Thank you for the letter!! I just received it over the weekend and enjoyed it immensely. You’ve inspired me to dust off my watercolors. Literally 🙂
So, the members of my book club thought your book would be a fun, light read in honour of my upcoming trip to Paris (end of May…soooo excited to be there) We were all pleasantly surprised and unanimously loved the book. We all felt that it was a very upbeat, happy book. It is well thought out, informative and very well written.
Thanks for a great book,
Linda (The Ecclectic Book Club)
Where are you, Janice? Missing your posts.

Rome! I was in Rome to score a blessing from the Pope… and to fill up on gelato. Good place to go for Easter. Yum.
I will be in Paris next week; can’t wait! I hope we will happen upon you and Carole G as we wander around L’Isle de la Cite and Rue Mouffetard. Loved your book, thank you for writing it.
Exceptional post however I was wondering if you could write a litte more on this topic?
I’d be very thankful if you could elaborate a little bit further.
